Riftbound TCG
First movers. New battlefields. League of Legends brought to the table.
Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game
Riftbound is Riot Games’ official League of Legends trading card game: a physical TCG that brings Champions, regions, and iconic Runeterran themes onto the tabletop. Built around Champion-led decks, color-coded Domains, and a streamlined rune resource system, Riftbound focuses on clean, modern card game design—consistent resources, dynamic board control, and multiple supported formats from 1v1 duels to team and multiplayer modes. Ashwood United approaches Riftbound as a long-term frontier. While the organized play ecosystem is still forming, we see Riftbound as a future pillar of competitive TCGs: a game where tight sequencing, clever deck construction, and League of Legends familiarity merge into a new kind of championship environment. Our goal is to become one of the first serious organizations in this space, shaping competitive standards from the ground up.

Ashwood United treats Riftbound as a long-horizon project: we’re not chasing quick clout; we’re building systems, testing methods, and player pipelines that will matter when the circuit matures.
Our Goals:
-
Establish Ashwood United as one of the first recognized competitive organizations in Riftbound.
-
Develop Champion-centric deck frameworks that can adapt as new expansions release.
-
Lay the groundwork for future Worlds-level aspirations once an official championship structure exists.
-
Produce educational content that helps new players enter Riftbound and stay in the game.
Our Approach:
-
Early meta exploration across Champions and Domains to identify core archetypes.
-
Cross-testing Riftbound ideas against principles from existing TCGs (Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, One Piece).
-
Keeping detailed notes and frameworks now, so we’re ahead when formal OP launches.
-
Collaborating with local game stores and communities to support early events and leagues.
